Skateboarding Lessons

I really love the homeschooling community and how willing people are to share their knowledge.

Today the kids got the chance to try skateboarding for the first time thanks to a homeschool dad who was willing to share not only his knowledge but also his board.

Since we are parents who have not yet bought a gift for our soon-to-be-six-year-old’s birthday next week there is a good chance he’ll be getting a skateboard.

Rae surprised us all by getting on a board and having a lot of fun. The fact that her birthday is not until the fall is unfortunate.

I have a feeling we’ll be at the skate park a lot more this summer.
