Asking as a mom who traditionally home schooled her children and saw them successfully enter college and life, what is your desired end result for your own children? Do you see college or traditional career paths? How do you prepare them with the executive function skills they need just for functioning on their own as adults?
I’m looking back now at things I wish I’d done differently, and I’m curious where you see your own kids in 15 years time with the style of education you’ve chosen.
I don’t have a specific plan for them, as they get older and decide what they want for themselves education and career wise we’ll make sure they get the requirements they need. My husband works for a post-secondary institution so we’re aware of their admission options for homeschoolers.
